Half-Day Rest, Composite Stock Price Index Closes Up to 6.233

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Jakarta Composite Index (IDX) closed to 6.233 positions in the first session of trading today, up 0.55% or 33 points compared to the position on Monday's trading closing session (26/03/2018) 6,200.
The JCI hike in the mid-day break was supported by a 222 stock price increase. However, as many as 120 stocks fell in price, 126 stagnant shares and 147 shares were not transacted at all. JCI is moving in the range of 6,230-6,274.
The total value of transactions in the first session of trading today reached Rp3, 77 trillion. It consists of transaction value in the Regular Market of Rp3.13 trillion, in Negotiated Market worth IDR634.46 billion and in Cash Market worth Rp92.91 million.
The trading volume recorded 56.05 million lots of shares, the result of 225,265 times the transaction. Foreign investors recorded net sales of Rp358.81 billion with net sales of 1.05 million lots.
Eight out of nine indexes of BEI index rose. The consumer sector index experienced the highest increase of 1.57% or 40.6 points to 2,627. Then followed by index of basic industry sector and index of miscellaneous industry sector which each increase 1% and 0,95%.
LQ45 stocks that experienced price hikes and became top gainers were KLBF whose price rose 3.57% or Rp50 to Rp1.450 per unit, HMSP price raised 2.45% or Rp100 to Rp4.180 per unit and BUMI price increased 2.1% or Rp6 to Rp292 per unit.
Meanwhile, LQ45 stocks that became top losers were INTP whose price was eroded 2.04% or Rp350 to Rp16.800 per unit, UNTR whose price decreased by 1.64% or Rp525 to Rp31,475 per unit and LPKR whose price shrank 1.26% or Rp6 to Rp472 per unit. (Abraham Sihombing)
