INDUSTRY.co.id - Palu - Prabowo Subianto's name will soon be declared as a presidential candidate in the 2019 presidential election. The plan is that the Regional Executive Council (DPD) of the Greater Gerindra Movement Party of Central Sulawesi will soon declare Prabowo's appointment on Sunday (1/4/2018).

"As scheduled, the declaration of Prabowo Subianto as presidential candidate will be held on Sunday, April 1, 2018. The declaration will be our title at around 19.30 WITA," said Head of DPD Office of Gerindra Central Sulawesi Party Andi Risman, on Saturday (31/3/2018).

Support to Prabowo Subianto as presidential candidate is the decision of DPD, DPC, and aspirations of cadres in Central Sulawesi.

Risman said, the declaration is planned to be attended by the board of Branch Leadership Board (DPC) Gerindra Party of 13 districts / cities throughout Central Sulawesi and all DPD Board. This declaration of former Army Special Forces Danjen Kopassus is centered in the Office of DPD Gerindra Party Central Sulawesi, at Jalan Elang Number 77, Palu.

Chairman of DPD Gerindra Sulteng Party Longki Djanggola said, support to Prabowo Subianto to be president of RI is the decision of all DPD leaders, DPC, and aspirations of cadres throughout Central Sulawesi.

"The Declaration of Prabowo's appointment will be held by the Board of DPD of Gerindra Party in Indonesia in its respective territory. And for Central Sulawesi we choose April 1, 2018," said the politician who is also the Governor of Central Sulawesi, as quoted from the Central Sulawesi.

For information, Gerindra Party became the second winner in the 2014 Election and obtained 182,217 votes or equivalent to 12.78 percent of the total valid votes of 1,424,748 votes while the first rank is Golkar Party which won 274,610 votes or 19.27 percent of the total valid votes.

With that capital, Gerindra Sulteng sure can contribute vote for Prabowo victory in General Election 2019.

As for nationally, Gerindra Party is ranked third after PDIP and Golkar Party. The party bearing the head of the eagle collected 14,760,371 votes or 11.81 percent of the total valid vote in 33 provinces of 124,972,491 votes.
