BEI-Bekraf Cooperation Develop a Technology-Based Startup

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) is partnering with the Creative Economy Agency (Bekraf) by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to support the development of a technology-based startup (startup).
President Director of IDX Tito Sulistio in Jakarta, Tuesday (3/4/2018) said that this cooperation is one of the steps to encourage startup in the country continues to grow which eventually contributed to the national economy.
"Bekraf is a state institution, and a non-state IDX is a non-profit institution that can be a facilitator and have products to develop starups," he said.
He explained BEI develop startup through IDX Incubator program. Through the program it is expected to grow digital startup and bridge startup to investors.
On the same occasion, Head of Bekraf Triawan Munaf said Bekraf and BEI will conduct collaboration and joint promotion on training and coaching to startup. Bekraf startup is also a chance to attend training and program IDX Incubator.
"Bekraf has a startup network and IDX also has a network based digital startup.We help each other increase and develop startup to scale up and contribute more to the national GDP," he told the media crew.
He added that Bekraf not only supports the provision of faculty and mentors who support the IDX Incubator curriculum, but also provides references as well as investor access to startup finance, facilitating access to government to support business development, and increasing opportunities for Bekraf programs.
