INDUSTRY.co.id - Nusa Dua -TNI Commander General Gatot Nurmantyo asked the public to be wary of the seeds that are now beginning to appear to show the split between religious believers by pitting the sheep.
"Do not let any conflict and interreligious conflict that can destroy, destroy the nation and the country. Do not let that happen," said TNI Gatot Nurmantyo when holding "Simakrama" (Temu rasa) Nationality Parisadha Hindu Dharma in Taman Bhagawan, Nusa Dua, Badung regency, Friday night (4/8/2017).
In a meeting with the theme of "National Insight" attended by thousands of religious and community leaders, General Gatot asked the community to participate in reducing the potential for conflict and no seeds of the seeds of division arose.
Quoting the statement of President Joko Widodo, he reminded the public to strengthen unity and unity in the frame of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika to defend the sovereignty and integrity of NKRI.
"The key is Pancasila as the basis of state as well as ideology of the nation, because Pancasila is formulated with the divine value agreed by the religious leaders in the early independence," he said.
TNI Commander said First President Soekarno once reminded NKRI that ideology Pancasila belongs to the Indonesian nation does not belong to one class, religion, or tribe.
So also President Jokowi, he said, also asked for Pancasila in terms of life of nation and state in everyday life.
On that occasion, General Gatot also reminded the spirit of nationalism regardless of the background and nature of the region as did the fighters, religious leaders and youth until the birth of Youth Pledge in 1928.
Within 17 years after the pledge was born, he said, Indonesia's independence can be captured the magnificent proclamation of independence of Indonesia which was launched by the proclaimer Bung Karno and Bung Hatta, August 17, 1945.
"This nation is working together, spearheaded by heroes, clerics and the people so they can seize independence with weapons as they are," said TNI Gatot Nurmantyo.
