2018, Indosat Allocates Rp6-7 Trillion to Develop Quality Network Cellular

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The management of PT Indosat Tbk (ISAT) allocates budget funds between Rp5.6-6 and Rp8 trillion to finance the investment of developing cellular network quality this year. It is done as a management step to re-fix the core business.
"One of the steps taken by management in this development is through the addition of Base Tranceiver Station (BTS) throughout Indonesia," said Deva Rachman, Group Head of Corporate Communication ISAT, in Jakarta, recently.
Deva argued, Indosat throughout 2017 and has built 4,874 units of BTS throughout Indonesia. Therefore, the total BTS Indosat until the end of 2017 and reached 61,357 units of BTS compared to the end of 2016 as many as 56,483 units of BTS to support the growth of data usage is very high.
Nevertheless, Deva can not reveal the company's BTS development target this year. "However, Indosat is committed to continuously improving network capacity and quality in Java and outside Java," added Deva. (Abraham Sihombing)
