INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) is coordinating with the Ministry of Trade (Kemendag) related to regulation cuts, especially the export recommendation issues.
"There is one such as export recommendation, colleagues from the Ministry of Trade are making the same thing so that our export recommendation in Minerba no longer needs to be done, and if it is ready to trade it is finished now is 'bridging'," said ESDM Minister Ignatius Jonan, Wednesday (11/4/2018).
In an explanation of Jonan at a hotel in the Jakarta area on Wednesday, after attending a mining forum, he said that while the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources is still issuing export recommendation letter and so on.
Specific coal commodities do not require export recommendations. Coordination between Ministries is done in order to improve the investment climate, after the cut of regulations that are considered to hamper the rate of investment.
Until March 5, 2018, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) has revoked 90 regulations and 96 certifications / recommendation / licensing. Of these, 32 regulations and 60 certifications / recommendations / licensing are from the Minerals and Coal sub-sector (Minerba).
"For the Minerba sub-sector, the regulation is revoked that we have 32 Ministerial Regulations (Permen) for about 60 issues in order to provide the best service to the company," said Director General of Minerba Bambang Gatot Ariyono.
Regulatory simplification and certificates / permits / recommendations in the Minerba subsector are the focus of the Government to facilitate the entry of investment. "That is the concern of the Ministry, so that later investors will easily enter, quickly get permission, so the barriers that have been long, will be solved through this," said Bambang.
According to Bambang, 32 candies are revoked will be arranged into three candy. "In Minerba itself there are 32 sweets that are revoked, we will compile only into three candies, not actually shortening (candy), but eliminating, importantly, if abbreviate or merge it is not needed. , and accelerate," explained Bambang.
The three candy from the simplification will be reduced to 11 Kepmen, as follows:
