Bali Flight to Worldwide Rose 1.67 Percent

INDUSTRY.co.id - Denpasar - Ngurah Rai international airport, Bali dispatched as many as 2,680 units of wide-bodied aircraft to foreign countries during June 2017 increased 44 times or 1.67 percent compared with the previous month which recorded 2636 units.
"The number of passengers transported as many as 495,185 people in June 2017 increased by 20,724 people or 4.37 percent from the previous month which recorded 474,462 people," said Head of Bali Provincial Central Statistics Agency Adi Nugroho in Denpasar on Saturday (5/8 / 2017)
In line with increasing the number of aircraft to foreign countries, he said, the number of baggage and air freight also increased by 1.20 percent from 8.75 million tons to 8.86 million tons.
International flight passengers from Bali to foreign countries are mostly foreign tourists after enjoying a holiday on the Island of the Gods.
Bali as a tourist destination during the month of June 2017 received 504,141 foreign tourists arriving from Ngurah Rai Airport 503,617 people and passing 524 sea ports.
The tourist was up by 24.22 percent compared to the same month of the previous year (June 2016) and added 3.02 percent from May 2017.
Adi Nugroho explained that the departure of foreign aircraft was Australia's most destinations, reaching 633 units transporting 107,365 passengers, followed by China 535 units (101,561 people), Singapore 467 units (81,067 people), Malaysia 463 units (71,402 people) and Qatar 89 units (25,450 people).
Besides, it also serves the flight routes to Japan 88 units carrying 20,338 people, Thailand 80 flights (17,680 people), East Timor 70 units (5,976 people), South Korea 65 flights (16,137 people), Taiwan 60 flights (16,980 people.
A total of 130 times the flight to various other countries in the world by carrying 31,230 tourists who returned to their country after a holiday in the island resort.
Adi Nugroho as quoted by Antara explained, Ngurah Rai International Airport Bali also serves domestic air transport as much as 3387 units during June 2017, reduced 192 times or 5.52 percent over the previous month which recorded 3,479 units.
It is proportional to the number of passengers as much as 393,707 people or decreased 11.05 percent compared to the previous month recorded 442,595 people.
"Similarly, the number of luggage and goods transported slumped 17.26 percent from 5.57 million tons in May 2017 to just 4.80 million tons," said Adi Nugroho.
