All New Suzuki Ertiga Believed to Sell 5,000 Units Monthly

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) officially launched All New Suzuki Ertiga in Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2018. It targets able to sell All New Ertiga in the number 5,000 units per month.
"All New Suzuki Ertiga every month we are targeting to sell 5,000 units targeted to increase from the previous generation," said Randy Rezki Murdoko, Group Head of Dealers Suzuki 4W PT SIS, at IIMS 2018, JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, Friday (20/4 / 2018).
He describes, current conditions Ertiga sales are in the range of 3,000 units per month. But with the presence of All New Suzuki Ertiga, SIS optimistic sales of one of the best-selling model that can penetrate 5,000 units.
"We are optimistic to reach the target and this target is only for the domestic market," he said.
Related to production capacity for All New Suzuki Ertiga, Randy reluctant to reveal it. It's just that he confirmed if the current Suzuki factory is able to meet consumer demand.
"Production of course we will follow market demand," Randy said.
He also explained if the Suzuki factory which is currently located in Cikarang already equipped with sophisticated technology. With the existing stock, Suzuki factory is capable of producing 120,000 units of vehicles each year, with an average of 10,000 units per month.
For information, the All New Suzuki Ertiga as a new generation is carrying a more contemporary design, with a new machine coded K14B which has 104 Ps power at 6,000 Rpm and the torque now become 138 Nm at 4,400 Rpm.
This car is also dimensionally stretched with a total length of 4.395 mm, width 1735 mm, but the height dropped to 1690 mm and wheelbase that remains the same in the figure of 2740 mm. With a capital record of fuel consumption reaching 16.73 km / liter for automatic transmission and 18.06 km / liter for manual variant, this car will compete with other opponents like Mitsubishi Xpander, and Toyota Avanza in LMPV segment.
