INDUSTRY.co.id - Padang - Pertamina Marketing Operation Region (MOR) I North Sumatra (Sumbagut) will add 3kg subsidized gas supply to West Sumatra in the upcoming Ramadan and Idul Fitri.
"The addition is aimed to keep the supply in the community enough, especially the demand in the month of fasting until Eid, increased," said Communications and CSR Pertamina MOR I Rudi Ariffianto, Monday (4/23/2018).
Rudi explained that the average distribution of 3kg subsidized gas per day to West Sumatera is about 100 thousand tubes or about 2.5 million tubes per month. "That is, we add about 100 thousand subsidized gas cylinders in Ramadan later than normal allocation," he said.
The addition of this supply is routinely done in meeting the needs of the community that increases during Ramadan and Eid.
According to him currently 3 kg LPG gas supply is still in a safe and stable condition. He said that the conditions of water and land routes are good so that the channeling of gas can run optimally to West Sumatera.
"We strive to continue to meet the needs of the community of course this is not apart from the weather that affects the distribution of gas and fuel," he said.
As for the non-subsidized gas bright gas tube size 5.5 kg, it only supplies about 140 tubes each month. He appealed to people who have an upper middle economy to switch from subsidized gas 3 kg to 5.5 kg of non-subsidized gas.
"Subsidized gas is only for our disadvantaged siblings, by switching to non-subsidized gas, of course, gas distribution of 3 kg can be more targeted," he said.
