Capaian Triwulan Pertama 2018 Subsektor EBTKE
INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Directorate General of Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (EBTKE) of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) in the first quarter of 2018 recorded several achievements in increasing installed capacity of renewable energy, especially geothermal and bioenergy.
Geothermal has also recorded state revenue of Rp 220.07 billion or 31.4% of the 2018 state budget target of Rp 700 billion by the end of the year. The composition of geothermal PNBP consists of existing geothermal working area (WKP) of Rp 909 billion and WKP geothermal license (IPB) of Rp 24 billion.
"The only PNBP generator in the Directorate General of EBTKE is geothermal, in 2017 the realization of PNBP of Rp 933 billion, this year's target is lowered to Rp 700 billion because we also see drilling and expenditure plans of all kinds that will affect PNBP, the more active WKP Existing drilling here and there, it will be less PNBP we get, but if not drilled the consequences will decrease their production, they are required to be active in WKP they have," said Rida Director General EBTKE Rida Mulyana at a press conference at the Directorate General of EBTKE Jakarta, Friday (4/27/2018).
He conveyed that until the first quarter of 2018 also achieved the signing of 70 renewable energy contracts with details of 3 commercial operation date / COD, 22 constructions, the rest funding preparation. 70 contracts are accumulatively reaching 1,214.16 MW of electricity capacity (62% water, 1% biogas, 3% biomass, 4% solar, 7% geothermal and 23% minihidro).
Total new renewable energy investment until the first quarter of 2018 recorded a record of US $ 0.29 billion. Reportedly, the installed capacity of Geothermal Power Station (PLTP) up to the first quarter reached 1.924.5 MW from the end of 2018 target of 2,058.5 MW. For Bioenergy PLT has reached 1,839.5 MW from the target of 1,881.0 MW. Meanwhile, the capacity of PLT Surya and PLT Mini / Micro hydro reached 307.3 MW.
The next achievement is the reduction of CO2 emissions to meet the targets set at the Conference of Parties (COP) 21 in Paris until the end of March recorded a decrease in CO2 emissions by 40 million tons. As for Biofuels (BBN), recorded additional production of 0.90 million kilo liters.
"CO2 emission reduction in addition to meeting the Paris Agreement also shows that we are concerned about the environment and the achievement of the first quarter of this new energy sector has not yet entered the transportation. Alhamdulillah, until quarter I I we have exceeded the target of 35.6 million tons until the end of 2018," says Rida.
DG EBTKE also noted that the energy savings that have been achieved are 17,839.236 MWh from three large corporations. If the savings are equal to Rp 20 billion (calculated from the energy savings of 17.839236 GWh multiplied by the price of industrial electricity of Rp1,114 / kWh). The savings are also equivalent to a decrease in carbon emissions of 15,645.01 tons per year.
The provision of energy-saving lamps in 3T (outpost, outermost, and left behind) locations until March 31, 2017 has been distributed the 79,556 KK Solar Energy Saver (LTSHE) lamps spread over 1,156 villages. By the end of 2018 LTSHE will be distributed to illuminate 1,260 villages or 167,064 families. Riau, West Papua, Maluku, West Nusa Tenggara, and Papua are the recipients of this pro-people program.
"The government coordinates with PLN in this LTSHE distribution program, if there is a region or village that PLN will be coming in later, then we will withdraw from the region," said Rida.
