INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The House of Representatives (DPR) Chairman Bambang Soesatyo has ordered the House of Representatives Commission V to increase the budget to the Ministry of Transportation for the construction of 33 ports will not be neglected.

"Asking the House of Representatives Commission V to encourage the Ministry of Transportation to increase the budget so that port development projects can run, to open relations between regions and to improve the local economy," said Bambang in his statement in Jakarta, Friday (4/27/2018)

Secondly, he asked the House of Representatives Commission II and House of Representatives Commission V to encourage the central government (Ministry of Transportation) and local government (local government) together to overcome and resolve the obstacles that occur for the purpose of development of 33 port projects can be achieved according to target.

Third, ask the House of Representatives Commission V to encourage the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) to provide additional budget for port development projects can run, to open relationships between regions and to improve the local economy.

Fourth, ask the House of Representatives Commission V to encourage Kemenhub and the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) to coordinate in the construction of supporting facilities such as the construction of road access, given the ports are not equipped with access road to the pier.

It follows the delay of 33 ports from 2011 to date based on the findings of Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Transportation.
