BPS: Lampung Manufacturing Industry Production Down 18.75 Percent

INDUSTRY.co.id - Bandarlampung- Production of large and medium manufacturing industries (quarter to quarter / q to q) Lampung Province in the first quarter of 2018 decreased by 18.75 percent from the fourth quarter of 2017.

"It indicates that there is a decline in production of large and medium industrial products in this quarter compared to the previous quarter," said Head of Lampung Province Statistics Agency Yeane Irmaningrum at Bandarlampung on Monday (7/5/2018)

She said that the production of large and medium manufacturing industry (year on year) Lampung Province in the first quarter of 2018 increased from the same quarter of the previous year at 5.53 percent, it shows that the production in the first quarter of 2018 in the industrial sector is larger from the same quarter of 2017.

According to her, the production of micro and small manufacturing industries (q-to-q) Lampung Province in the first quarter of 2018 showed an increase of 1.68 percent compared to the fourth quarter of 2017.

"As for year on year, in the first quarter of 2018 there was a slowdown of 2.59 percent from the same quarter the previous year," she said.

Meanwhile, she continued, the production of Indonesia's large and medium manufacturing industry (q-to-q) in the first quarter of 2018 increased 0.88 percent from the fourth quarter of 2017. This shows the production of the national processing industry products in this quarter compared to the previous quarter slightly increased.

She explained that the production of Indonesia's large and medium manufacturing industry (y-on-y) in the first quarter of 2018 showed an increase of 5.01 percent compared to the first quarter of 2017.

This, she continued, indicates the economy of industrial sectors based on large and medium companies in Indonesia in the first quarter of this year is better than the first quarter of the previous year.
