INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta, a series of terror bombs that occurred in the country indirectly make Indonesia crossed out of the list of investment destinations.

Indian investors said it was not affected by a series of terror bombs that hit Indonesia.

Chairman of Indian Committee of Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin Indonesia) Satish Mahtani said that security problem is one of the factors of investment consideration. However, of course investments have long-term goals and are not only influenced by momentary events.

"All countries have a fear but life must go on and it also happens in Indonesia. This is a rather tense moment but in the future we are optimistic," said Satish in Jakarta (18/05/2018).

According to him, all countries have fear but life must go on and it also happens in Indonesia. "It's a rather tense moment but in the future we are optimistic," he said

As is known, last year, India's investment in Indonesia recorded a more than five-fold increase from US $ 55 million to US $ 286.6 million. In the first quarter of 2018, according to BPS data, Indonesia-India trade balance was recorded at US $ 4.33 billion.

"It can not be from one incident that we are in doubt and do not enter this country so we have to see the long term," said Satish.
