Jakarta Fair Transactions Expected to Reach Rp 7 Trillion

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Vice Governor of DKI Jakarta Sandiaga Salahudin Uno expects the value of event transactions Jakarta Fair 2018 can reach Rp 7 trillion.

"Jakarta Fair is a big event, I hope the transaction value can reach Rp 7 trillion and its visitors reach 6 million people," said Sandiaga in Jakarta, Thursday (5/24/2018)

According to him, the number of visitors and traders, both from small, medium, to large scale in the event is part of the driving wheel of the economy.

"In addition to being able to move the wheels of the economy, the implementation of Jakarta Fair can create so many jobs for the community," said Sandiaga.

He said that the Jakarta Fair 2018 event is participated by 2,700 participating companies which are divided into 1,500 booths that exhibit superior products.

"Before the start, the Jakarta Fair event has opened 30,000 jobs, and after the official start, there is an absorption of about 10,000 workers," Sandiaga said.

Jakarta Fair The year 2018 takes place on May 23 to July 1, 2018. On Wednesday (23/5) night, the Governor of Jakarta Anies Baswedan officially opened the event.

This year's Jakarta Fair held the theme of "Jakarta Fair to Succeed Indonesian Meeting, Incentive, Conference and Exhibition (MICE) in National Economic Development Process."
