Tokopedia Ramadan Program Serves 65 Million Visitors

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta- Tokopedia's online marketplace serves 65 million visitors during the Extra-Ramadan program, which peaked on May 25, 2018.
Through a press release received in Jakarta, Sunday (05/27/2018) Tokopedia during the program mentioned that it has successfully recorded the transaction value equivalent to the accumulated transaction value during the first five years (August 2009-June 2014).
According to Google Analytics data, Tokopedia throughout May 2018 has served more than 65 million citizens of Indonesia who visit Tokopedia at least 300 million visits per month.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Tokopedia William Tanuwijaya praised the high interest of the public to participate in the shopping festival welcoming Eid 2018.
"Our mission to encourage the digital distribution of the economy is always our main motivation to work, we are deeply moved and appreciate the beliefs of the people of Indonesia against the Extra Ramadan," he said.
William also said the enthusiasm for this program provides a lesson for Tokopedia to present similar programs in the coming years.
"Seeing the extraordinary greeting from the public, it is not impossible that Extra Ramadan can become an annual festival such as Black Friday in the United States, Boxing Day in Europe, Single Day in China, or Big Billion Day in India, festivals filled with local wisdom," said William.
In addition, the Ramadhan program initiated by Tokopedia also succeeded in making the application of shopping center pages within the network topped the Apple Store beating Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram.
While in the Android operating system, Tokopedia also managed to become a big toga in Google Play beat Facebook and Instagram.
