INDUSTRY.co.id - Makassar- The Indonesian Consumer Foundation (YLKI) Makassar Foundation said it does not agree with the Garuda Pilot Association (APG) strike plan especially at the peak of Eid flows because it will harm consumers.
Chairman of YLKI Makassar Ambo Masse in Makassar, Sunday (3/6/2018) hopes that all issues that are the basis of the desire to strike APG work can be resolved to avoid making the community anxious.
"If Garuda pilots break down, it will certainly harm the public or consumers, which is certainly something to avoid," he said.
It also reminds all parties to better prioritize the needs of the community or consumers, especially with the current conditions that began entering the season back and forth.
If it is still enforced the strike agenda then it will provide a negative image for the pilot by consumers.
Meanwhile, he said, the Government should also be present to help solve this problem so as not to harm consumers. Internal issues that occur in the company must also be resolved internally and not interfere with the consumer.
Moreover, there is a Law on Consumer Protection and Aviation Law to ensure that consumers are entitled to comfort, safety and safety when using flight services.
"The strike during the current season will certainly have a negative impact especially for consumers," he said. "We certainly hope that the plan will be canceled and more focused on providing maximum service to consumers." (Ant)
