UI Entrances 300 Best World College

INDUSTRY.co.id - Depok - University of Indonesia (UI) succeeded in entering the top 300 best universities in the world, along with two other universities in Asia namely National Yang-Ming University in Taipei and Beijing Normal University in Beijing.
"The assessment of the world's top universities is based on the ranking of 'Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Ranking' 2018/2019", said UI Rector Prof. Muhammad Anis on campus UI Depok, Thursday (7/6/2018).
It is said, from year to year keep trying to bring UI into locomotive education nation that can compete with other best universities in the international education map.
The result of the rating is proof that Higher Education in Indonesia has been recognized by the world and able to compete with other universities from countries in Asia, Australia and Europe.
The ranking of QS World University Ranking this time was conducted on 1233 universities in 151 countries in the world released on Wednesday (6/6) through the site https://www.topuniversities.com/university-rankings/world-university-rankings/2019 UI managed to maintain its position to become the best university in Indonesia for 7 consecutive years according to the results of the annual publication of QS University Ranking.
QS University Ranking is an official ranking that is used as a reference by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of Indonesia to measure the quality of institutional universities in Indonesia to World Class University.
Anis to the media crew said one of the efforts that UI is doing is with the fulfillment of indicators used by this prestigious rating agency of the world.
This ranking reaffirms UI's expertise as the nation's best university in the field of Social Humanities, Health and Science Technology.
Anis further added that in 2018, we intensively conducted quality improvement and quantity of research and community service. In addition, we would like to increase the participation of UI academic community in responding to society's problems through cutting-edge and innovative research.
He said the achievement of UI is the result of hard work of all UI academicians. In the calculations performed by the QS team, this year UI has increased significantly on the performance of "International Faculty".
This indicator shows an increase in the number of foreign lecturers and foreign researchers who participated as educators UI students. Currently, UI has 617 lecturers and foreign researchers dominated from Australia, Philippines, Japan and Malaysia.
The subsequent performance improvements are shown in the "Employer Reputation" indicator. This indicator shows the increase in satisfaction of the leadership of the company to the performance of UI graduates in their company.
