PGN Departs 3,000 Free Mudik Participants

INDUSTRY.co.id - Bandarlampung - Animo community to follow the program Mudik Bersama PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGN) experienced a significant jump this year which followed 3,000 participants or an increase of 33.63 percent compared to last year.
PGN Corporate Secretary Rachmat Hutama said in a press statement received at Bandarlampung on Friday that free homecoming activities are always held by PGN to make it easier for people to return to their hometown without having to fight for bus tickets at the terminal.
"The event is also the closing of the implementation of Ramadan PGN safari in 2018," he said.
Rachmat noted that this year PGN hired 64 buses to be dispatched from four departure points to a number of cities in West Java, Central Java, Yogyakarta, and East Java.
The number of buses used by PGN to leave travelers increased compared to last year's 45 buses.
"On Friday (8/6) and Saturday (9/6), we will collect 3,000 Mudik Bersama PGN participants at four points and release the departure of buses to be used by travelers to their respective homes," he said.
Participant Mudik Bersama PGN participants who have signed up are requested to arrive before the bus departure schedule at each point. The departure of the first group was at 07.30 WIB, on Friday, June 8, 2018 from the Command Hall, Kopassus, Cijantung, East Jakarta.
"The first group is the most numerous, more than 2,800 people will be transported using 58 buses, travelers are Kopassus family members, the family of PGN bajaj gas drivers, third-party PGN family workers, and there is also a family of PGN customers," Rachmat said.
At 4 pm, on the same day, PGN will dispatch three buses to transport 150 families of EMR Ministry employees from the ESDM Ministry office on Jalan Medan Merdeka, Central Jakarta. While the other two buses to dispatch 80 family of employees of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources from the Meteorological Agency in Bandung.
Finally, PGN also provides a bus to support the homecoming program with the Ministry of SOEs that will depart at 08.00 am on Saturday, June 9, 2018 from Ancol Carnival Beach. There are 45 travelers from PGN's third-party workers who will depart from that point.
According to Rachmat, PGN is a company established by the government to provide the widest benefit for the state and society. "One of the ways we realize that commitment is to please the TNI members, bajaj gas drivers, public officers and janitors in our offices, and employees of the ESDM Ministry to return home, which has helped PGN in expanding the utilization of gas earth in Indonesia, "he concluded.
