Lippo Group- Langham Hospitality Group Immediately Build Luxury Hotel at Mega Meikarta Project

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta The London-based company, Langham Hospitality Group, is interested in becoming a hotel operator in the new city of Meikarta. This Mega project was developed by Lippo Group in Cikarang.

The statement of interest is poured in the Letter of Intent (LoI) between Meikarta with Langham in Kemang Village, Jakarta, Thursday (08/10/2017). The signing by the Managing Director Meikarta Ketut Budi Wijaya and from Langham side represented Development Celia Lian.

Attending the signing ceremony, Director Meikarta Jonathan Gunawan, General Manager of Meikarta David Pian, and several other Lippo Group officials.

As is known, Langham Hospitality Group is a London hospitality service company, which is under the auspices of Great Eagle Holdings of world-renowned property and hospitality companies. Langham Hospitality Group has 50 branch hotels spread across the world and has earned several Best Hotel Awards.

Ketut said, Langham presence will be going along with Meikarta plan to build a modern city.

"This step certainly reflects the level of international community trust in Meikarta in its effort to build a giant modern city with the most complete infrastructure in Asia," Ketut said.

Furthermore, Ketut targets, the cooperation of both parties can be continued to the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and agreement (agreement) completed before the end of the year. In less than five years, both hotels are ready to operate.

Related to the value of investment to build both hotels, Ketut reluctant to explain the amount of value. "We have not seen it, depending on our agreement, we have to sit down for details," he added.
