Here are the Three Traffic Engineering Policies During the Asian Games

Badan Pengelola Transportasi Jabodetabek (BPTJ) bersama Dishub DKI Jakarta menyiapkan tiga paket kebijakan rekayasa lalu lintas untuk mendukung keberhasilan pelaksanaan Asian Games 18th di Jakarta.
INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Jabodetabek Transportation Management Agency (BPTJ) with Dishub DKI Jakarta is preparing three packages of traffic engineering policy to support the successful implementation of Asian Games 18th in Jakarta.
"This policy package is a further development of the even odd concept that has been proposed by the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta, after we conduct intensive review, it needs a more comprehensive policy to support the smooth transportation during the Asian Games in Jakarta," explained Head of BPTJ Bambang Prihartono in Jakarta, 26/6/2018).
Traffic Engineering Management involves an extension of even odd policy on the Jakarta Artery Road (as proposed by Dishub DKI Jakarta) from Jl. M.H. Thamrin, Jl. General Sudirman, Jl. Gatot Subroto, expanded to Jl. Benyamin Sueb, Jl. Ahmad Yani, Jl. IN. Panjaitan, Jl. S. Parman, Jl. Rasuna Sai.
Then Jl, MT, Haryono and Jl Metro Pondok Indah. This even odd policy is for private vehicles and applies every Monday-Sunday at 06.00-21.00 WIB.
The expansion also applies to the even odd policy in the Toll Gate which is the addition at the Tambun Toll Gate from the original only Bekasi Barat and East Bekasi (Jakarta Cikampek Toll Road) as well as the addition of the Dawuan Toll Door from the original Cibubur Toll Gate (Jagorawi Toll Road).
Open Close and Odd Even
For private vehicle arrangements, a priority toll gate policy is open. The toll gate closure will be conducted at the densest gate that has a speed of less than 40 km / h, V / C ratio of more than 1, the queue length reaches 200 meters and the distance between the toll gates is close together.
The closing of this priority toll gate will be applied varies from 06.00 - 17.00 WIB and 12.00 - 21.00 every day. The toll gate closure is prioritized for the Kemayoran Atlet Wisma route, Gelora Bung Karno (GBK), Velodrome Rawamangun and Cibubur.
Also included in this policy is the provision of special lanes on toll roads destined for athlete transport vehicles and public buses. More than 100 km of length of toll road in Lane 1 will be dedicated to a special lane of athlete's vehicle mobility and bus transportation.
The LKAU toll road segment covers the Inner City Toll Road (21.6 km), Toll Road section (25.8 km), Wiyoto Wiyono Toll Road (26.2 km) and Jagorawi Toll Road (26.8 km) which will be equipped with markers and signs.
Second: Public Transportation Policy is aimed to support the mobility of the people as a result of the regulation policy of private vehicle usage and support the needs of foreign tourists who come because of the Asian Games. This policy includes

This policy includes the addition of Transjakarta bus fleet to the venue of 76 units from the existing condition of 294 units, the provision of 57 bus units from the Hotel / Mall to Venue, providing 204 special buses for areas affected by odd-even policy expansion, and the provision of 10 units of bus for non-match purposes (tours).
Third: Policy on Traffic Frequency of Freight Transportation shall be implemented by expanding the scope of restrictions on the transport of goods of goods class III, IV and V on certain toll roads. Currently, there are restrictions on freight traffic on the Cawang-Tomang-Pluit and Tomang-Kembangan toll roads where freight vehicles should not pass on these toll roads beyond 22:00 05.00 WIB.
Especially during the implementation of the Asian Games traffic restrictions on freight traffic will be extended to the Tj Tj. Priok, Port Toll Road, Cawang TMII toll road and Cikunir toll road segment
