INDUSTRY.co.id - Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., a subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated (NASDAQ: QCOM), announced three new series of Qualcomm® Snapdragon ™ 600 and 400 lines, Snapdragon 632, 439 and 429 Mobile Platforms.

These platforms are developed to provide higher performance, better battery life, more efficient design, awesome graphics, and bring the ability of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to the best-selling Snapdragon line.

Qualcomm Technologies continues to bring more premium technology advancements to the line of lower-class Snapdragon lines, which helps transform the consumer experience in the wider market.

Kedar Kondap, Vice President, Product Management, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. said that Snapdragon 632, 439 and 429 are built from QUALCOMM Technologies' best-selling mobile platform and deliver enhanced performance, power efficiency, superior graphics, AI capabilities and user connectivity features.

"We are excited to offer these platforms with advanced features to our OEMs and customers," he said through an official statement to INDUSTRY.co.id received Thursday (28/06/2018).

More than 1,350 commercial devices based on the Snapdragon 600 Mobile Platform line and more than 2,300 commercial devices based off the Snapdragon 400 Mobile Platform line have been announced by global device makers. These new generation platforms bring huge improvements to the already highly successful and feature rich platform.

Snapdragon 632: The latest Snapdragon 632 brings some of the most sought-after mobile experiences, including mainstream gaming, 4K resolution video capture, artificial intelligence, and high-speed LTE connectivity at a much more affordable price.

Made from the advanced FinFET process technology, the Snapdragon 632 offers up to 40+ performance enhancements between the Qualcomm® CPU

Kryo ™ 250 and Qualcomm® Adreno ™ 506 GPU.

Camera fans can benefit from either a single-resolution 24MP camera or dual camera with 13MP resolution respectively, while the display resolution can be upgraded to FHD +. For high cellular speed, Snapdragon 632 also carries LTE X9 modem that supports Advanced LTE technology such as carrier aggregation.

Snapdragon 439 and 429: Snapdragon 439 and 429 Mobile Platforms were created to help bring the popular mobile experience to the general market, and consumers who care about prices.

Both platforms are equipped with artificial intelligence capabilities that enhance the camera experience, sound, and security. Built with advanced FinFET process technology, Snapdragon 439 and 429 Mobile Platforms boost CPU performance and power efficiency up to 25% 3.

Both feature the X6 LTE modem for fast download speeds, smooth video streaming, and seamless web browsing. The Snapdragon 439 comes with an octa-core CPU and adds the Adreno 505 GPU for faster graphical rendering up to 20%.

Snapdragon 429 carries the Adreno 504 GPU, for up to 50% graphical rendering. Snapdragon 439 features a single 21MP resolution camera and 8 + 8MP double camera along with FHD + display support, while the Snapdragon 429 carries a single camera with 16MP resolution and 8 + 8MP dual camera and HD + display.

Snapdragons 632, 439 and 429 have software compatibility with Snapdragon 626, 625 and 450. While software and electronics socket Snapdragon 439 and 429 are the same with each other. Commercial devices powered by Snapdragon 632, 439, and 429 are expected to slide in the second half of this year.
