INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - President Joko Widodo stated that the agreement reached in Freeport divestment is a major improvement for Indonesia.
"If you can get into the head of agreement, that is a very rapid progress, do not think it met a new signature, this is a 3.5 year long process with Freeport," said President Jokowi after giving a public lecture at the State Defense Academy NasDem Party in Jakarta, Monday (16/7/2018)
According to him, the agreement should start from the "head of agreement (hoa)" and will be followed up with the second to the third agreement.
"The agreement is a long process of almost 3.5-4 years, when it can get into the HoA, it's a very rapid progress. Alhamdulillah we should be grateful. Not even there has been progress in italics," he said.
