INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is concerned that Sukamiskin Prison Head, Bandung, Wahid Husein netted a hand-catch operation (OTT) because Kalapas is in fact a law enforcement apparatus.

"Kalapas including law enforcement officers in the 'prison criminal justice system' it will be part of the duty to conduct guidance to inmates," said Deputy Chairman of KPK Alexander Marwata when confirmed in Jakarta, Saturday (21/07/2018)

In the future, said Alexander, KPK will further strengthen coordination with Kemenkumham especially Ditjen Pas to further improve the supervision of prison.

"Especially that accommodates convicted corruption cases," said Alexander.

Thus, Alexander said, it is expected that inmates who have completed their sentences can behave better, not repeat their actions, and be re-accepted by the community.

Based on the information gathered, the KPK team had conducted a search in the husband room Inneke Koesherawati Fahmi Darmawangsa, Fuad Amin, and Tubagus Chaeri Wardana alias Wawan. Since Fuad Amin and Wawan are being treated in a hospital outside prison then only sealing the rooms of Fuad Amin and Wawan

KPK on Saturday early morning held a Hand Capture Operation (OTT) against Wahid Husein. The KPK also took five others to the KPK Building along with Wahid and secured the cash.

"The rupiah cash and foreign currency are being calculated and the vehicle is also secured as the initial evidence," said Vice Chairman of KPK Laode M Syarif.

The six persons have been taken to the KPK office in Jakarta for further examination.
