Minister of Industry: Government Provides Incentives to Low-Emission Vehicles

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Ministry of Industry is currently developing policies to improve the regulation of Low Carbon Emission vehicles. Including hybrid vehicles and electric cars.
Minister of Industry Airlangga Hartarto said the government will provide incentives to low carbon vehicles compared to conventional cars. With a target in 2025 as much as 20 percent or 400 thousand low-emission vehicles can enter the Indonesian market.
"In addition, we emphasize that the center of innovation is important because the world will enter a new era, where low cost emission vehicles become one of the capital to be a substitute for carbon fuel.In the end we are trying to make Euro4 expected to be completed before the implementation of Asian Games 2018, He explained in a press statement, Sunday (08/13/2017).
Airlangga added that the event of Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2017 which was held on August 10 to 20 this can provide explanation to the public, about the development of technology achieved by the motor vehicle industry in Indonesia
