Bank Danamon and Adira Finance Hold CSR Activities in the People's Market

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Bank Danamon Tbk (BDMN) and its subsidiaries, PT Adira Finance Tbk (ADMF) and PT Adira Insurance are committed to continue supporting the development of the people market. The activity was facilitated by Danamon Peduli Foundation.

It is an activity that is part of the 62nd Anniversary of Bank Danamon. On that occasion, Danamon Syariah Business Unit through Danamon Peduli handed over education infrastructure and facilities for Early Childhood Education (PAUD) Bina Yayasan Tunas Jaya, Kramat Jati Parent Market, and East Jakarta.

Assistance provided in the form of procurement Pojok Baca (bookshelves and reading books quality); 1 unit of computer and printer; white board; various educational games; loudspeakers and lockers.

All assistance was handed over by Heriyanto Agung Putra, Director of Bank Danamon, to Fery Farhati Baswedan, Advisor to Dharma Wanita Persatuan DKI Jakarta Province. The handover was witnessed by Arief Nasrudin, President Director of PD Pasar Jaya and Lya Arief Nasrudin, Chairman of PAUD Bina Tunas Jaya Foundation.

Heriyanto pointed out that the existence of early childhood education in Kramat Jati Market that operates 24 hours, 7 days a week is deserved to get support, considering its existence is very helpful to the traders to provide supervision and education to their children while carrying out daily economic activities.

As a series of Danamon's 62nd anniversary celebration on July 16, 2018, Danamon Peduli has also undertaken CSR activities entitled Environmental Care in Koja Market, North Jakarta, which is conducting Training on Disaster Mitigation and Fire and handover of hygiene facilities 1 unit of compost machine; 190 pieces of trash; and painting.

To support the activities in Kramat Jati Market and Koja Market, Danamon Peduli allocates funds of Rp 300 million, from a total budget of Rp 2.3 billion specifically for Environmental Care activities in 2018.
