Informal Workers Have Not Much to Use BPJS Employment

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Sandiaga Uno wants One Sub-District for Entrepreneurship (OK Oce) One Sub-district participant can be enrolled in the Social Security Administering Agency (BPJS) of Manpower.
Sandi said micro, small and medium economic actors need to take advantage of the existence of the Employment BPJS because; currently there are still many jobs in the informal sector that have not become participants in the social security workforce.
"Today we are initiating several initiatives, one of which is how to provide benefits services for MSMEs incorporated in OK OCE," said Sandi after becoming a speaker at the National Symposium on Increasing Benefits and Services of Social Security Employment Program in Cikini, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (24/7).
Sandi explained, in addition to providing social welfare benefits to the perpetrators of SMEs, the existence of social security can increase economic passion and open employment in Jakarta.
"We will target through the Océ OK approach and we have the data by name by address," he explained.
Sandi added, departing from the total workforce in Jakarta is still a lot of task to increase the level of participation BPJS Employment.
"OK OCE participants who have reached 42 thousand, I also encourage to be protected by BPJS Employment," he said.
