Welcome Independence Anniversary, BTN Holds Cheap Market and Healthy Walk

INDUSTRY.co.id - Gorontalo - Welcoming Indonesia's 72nd Anniversary of Independence, PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk held a low-cost and healthy street market event. Healthy road event held at Gorontalo City Park, was greeted by over 6,000 participants who came from all over Gorontalo City.

The event was also enlivened with various entertainment events for residents of the city of Gorontalo. The activity is part of the program BUMN Present For the State proclaimed by the Ministry of SOEs.

The event was attended by Deputy Governor of Gorontalo Idris Rahim, Mayor of Gorontalo Marten Taha, Regent of Gorontalo Nelson Pomalingo.Acara also witnessed by Assistant Deputy of Financial Services Business Service Survey and Consultation II Ministry of BUMN, Wien Irwanto.

After passing the route 5 kilometers of healthy road, the participants can enjoy various entertainment, ranging from zumba gymnastics, entertainment events Ecko Show and Hip Hop Gorontalo and Kopdar or Local Comedy Community. As a form of appreciation to the healthy road participants, Bank BTN in cooperation with SOEs present in Gorontalo membagikandoorprizedengan total value of Rp 75 million in the form of motorcycles, mobile phones, TVs, refrigerators and so forth.

Not just entertainment, Bank BTN also provide social assistance by holding a cheap market. At least 1,500 less fortunate people who get a coupon from Bank BTN can get packages of basic foods containing 5 kg of rice, sugar and cooking oil equivalent of 2 liters each and tea bags. The basic food packages are sold to the recipients of the coupon at a price of Rp 25,000.

The proceeds from the sale of basic foods in the low-cost market will be donated for the construction of facilities and infrastructure of places of worship in Gorontalo Province, so the benefits can still be felt by the people of Gorontalo, Mahelan said.

The event of cheap and healthy street market is part of BUMN program Present for the State held by Bank BTN. The series of activities has been started since last April, including the Student Program knows the Nusantara (SMN). SMN was attended by 20 students of grade XI SMAN, SMKN and SLB selected to depart from Gorontalo on 23 July 2017 to Pontianak, and return to birth place on August 1, 2017.
