INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Jokowi-JK Government is asked to re-arrange the food sector by applying institutional or business entities owned by the people, especially farmers and ranchers as food providers in Indonesia.
Observer and activator of Indonesia Agung Sudjatmoko cooperative in Jakarta, Friday (27/7), considered it is time in this situation for the Government to reorganize the food product sector with the institution owned by the farmers / ranchers.
"Create an integral policy of increasing the product, ranging from seeds, fertilizer, crop processing to farmers," he said.
Agung suggested that changes should be made to the role and function of agricultural extension workers, not just civil servants who do not perform their duties and obligations optimally.
"They must be the spearhead and become managers in the people's economic groups that strengthen the institutions," he said.
Some of the productive steps he advocated were the easy and cheap distribution of the agricultural credit system and diverting targeted subsidies to stabilize the prices of agricultural products during harvest.
"Then the strengthening of farmers' economic institutions / farmers to become small industries that process agricultural products so it has a good added value for farmers," he said.
The next step he said, namely replace and overhaul the officials who can not work to realize the jaws that have been carried Jokowi-JK Government.
"If detailed and flayed in detail then the government report is still red because many targets are not achieved. This condition hurts the people because they have chosen and give responsibility to the president lead the country because his welfare is not achieved," he said.
