No Bacaleg Golkar West Java Former Corruption Prisoner

INDUSTRY.co.id - Karawang - Chairman of DPD I Golkar Party of West Java Dedi Mulyadi ensure legislative candidates from his party clean and no one ex-prisoners of corruption.

"This is part of our commitment in eradicating corruption," he said after debriefing legislative candidate (bacaleg) in Golkar DPD II Office Karawang, Tuesday (31/7/2018)

He acknowledged the actual moment of internal screening, there are some bacalegs listed as former inmates. But they were killed during the party's internal verification, so it was not registered to the General Election Commission (KPU).

"I am sure that the criteria we have determined are all filled with bacaleg so that there is no problem in the KPU of each region, the names of our bacaleg are clean from corruption cases," he said.

Dedi explained, Golkar Jabar not only clean from bacaleg with criminal corruption. Other general crimes also take part in the consideration of his party to take a decision.

"We have no tolerance at all, this is the initial process of verifying our commitment, if we are elected, in case of the slightest legal case, we will change over time," he added.

The former Regent of Purwakarta during these two periods asserted that Golkar cadres were able to master the territorial aspect of the regional elections if they wanted to win. The aspect is considered important, because related with the extent to which the proximity of emotional and ideological caleg with constituents.
