Chairman of KPK will Accompany Novel Baswedan during Inspection in Singapore

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta Agus Rahardjo Chairman of the Commission will assist Novel Baswedan when questioned by police as a witness the victim at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (Embassy) Singapore on Monday (14/08/2017).

"The KPK Chairman plan will accompany," said KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah in Jakarta, Sunday (13/08/2017)

Novel Baswedan was doused by two riders near his home on April 11, 2017 after a dawn prayer at Al-Ihsan Mosque near his home. Novel's eyes were damaged so he had to undergo treatment at the Singapore National Eye Center (SNEC) since April 12, 2017.

The examination was conducted on Monday (14/8) because on Thursday, August 17, 2017 Novel will undergo major surgery in his left eye.

"From the last week of intensive preparation for the doctor checks the operation so that on Monday (14/8) is considered the most appropriate because after the operation is no longer possible given there should be a long recovery, according to doctors," said Novel’s brother, Taufik Baswedan when confirmed.

According to Febri, whatever happens postoperatively, Novel is sincere.

"For the operation plan and whatever happens after that, Novel sincere. KPK family and also hope prayers of all the parties to the operation and maintenance of all works, and law enforcement officers are given the power to investigate the case," said Febri.

Another hope is that the eradication of corruption, including the handling of KTP-e cases ever handled Novel increasingly reveals the main actors who harm the country's finances to trillions of dollars.

Until more than 100 days of Novel Baswedan's perpetrators, it has not been found even though the police have examined many witnesses, sketching the suspect to the detainee of a number of people who were later released.
