INDUSTRY.co.id - Palangka Raya - Special Detachment 88 Police officers and Palangka Raya Police Station, Central Kalimantan, raided an alleged terrorist house located at Jalan Rajawali Km 6.5 Gang Rukun, Palangka Raya, Monday (08/13/2018)
In the raid Densus 88 carried a number of evidences, such as chemicals in the form of powder, paralon and two blades. Meanwhile, a man with the initials LD who was suspected of being a terrorist network was also arrested and taken by the Detachment 88 Team to the Central Kalimantan Regional Police headquarters.
"It's true that our colleague from the National Police Headquarters Detachment 88 secured one person. Regarding what case, I don't know yet. Still waiting for clarity," said Palangka Raya police chief, AKBP Timbul Rein Krisman Siregar, while at the raid location.
After LU was arrested and secured, Detachment 88 picked up LU's wife who worked as a teacher in one of the schools in Palangka Raya.
Not yet known the status of LU's wife was picked up by the Detachment's officers. But when he entered the Central Kalimantan Regional Police Headquarters, LD's wife still used the clothes of the state civil apparatus (ASN) and hijab.
According to a number of local residents, LD worked as a warden, and his wife worked as a teacher. In their daily life, the lives of husband and wife of these two children are also not too suspicious, because they diligently greet local people.
"Saying greetings and smiles with neighbors is only natural. When the vegetable crops are harvested, LD's family often shares with neighbors. They also often pray together at the mosque near his house," said Riska, a neighbor of LD.
He confirmed that he was also made a witness by the police in the raid.
"In my view, the items secured by the police have several chemicals and a number of chemical powders, which do not know their function," Riska said.
Monitoring in the field, the raids became a spectacle of people who happened to cross the Jalan Rajawali section. Even a number of people perpetuate the actions of local officials by video and photograph on their personal cell phones. (Ant)
