BTN-RNI Agrees to Increase Commercial Credit

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk, agreed on a business partnership with PT Rajawali Nusantara Indonesia (Persero) to hoist up the company's commercial lending which had grown 16 percent (yoy).
BTN President Director Maryono in Jakarta, Wednesday (09/18/2018), said that commercial credit distribution reached Rp. 38.14 trillion as of the end of August 2018, up 16.89 percent on an annual basis (year-on-year / yoy) from Rp. 32.63 trillion in August 2017.
"Partnership with RNI, BTN will facilitate products and banking services to RNI," said through a written statement related to the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between BTN and RNI.
Maryono said that the cooperation that was soon realized included credit facilities from BTN to finance property development projects on RNI's land. Furthermore, BTN will also provide commercial credit services to RNI and bank guarantee or guarantee services.
"We will also provide KPR / KPA [home / apartment] credit and other consumer credit products with attractive schemes for RNI employees," Maryono said.
BTN, he said, will continue to enhance partnerships with various institutions to increase commercial lending and BTN's business performance which is targeted to grow 20 percent (yoy).
"We believe that with the various actions of innovation, transformation, and synergy that we do, we will be able to achieve these growth targets." he said.
To boost lending, BTN has also previously partnered with PT Angkasa Pura II Persero with an investment credit facility worth Rp1 trillion. Then, BTN collaborated with a joint venture between AP II and PT Kereta Api Indonesia, namely PT Railink Indonesia.
