INDUSTRY.co.idJakarta - The rupiah exchange rate is still showing a downward trend. Garuda's currency exchange rate is still at the level of Rp. 14,898 per US dollar. The weakening of the rupiah had an impact on the Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Industry. This was experienced by PT Pasifik Teknologi Indonesia (PTI) as the authorized dealer of Hikvision CCTV video surveillance.

His party experienced a decline in market sales of up to 10 percent. "As a result, in the second quarter it was holding back price increases. We have to adjust the market for CCTV, "said Michael Chen, Country Manager of Hikvision Indonesia in a press release in Jakarta, Friday (9/21/2018).

HIKVISION itself is an innovative and leading provider of video surveillance products and solutions in the world. Featuring the strongest research and development (R & D) workforce in the industry, HIKVISION advances technology in audio and video encoding, processing video display, and data storage, as well as future technologies such as cloud computing, big data, and deep learning.

HIKVISION has operated 33 regional subsidiaries worldwide to achieve a truly real presence. "We have also installed 10,000 CCTV units in implementing smart city in Jakarta," he said

Currently, PTI already has more than 1,000 partners spread throughout Indonesia and continues to expand to all cities in Indonesia.
