Ireland Will Hold Winter Festival With Game of Thrones Theme

INDUSTRY.co.id - Ireland - Due to the many fans and tourists coming to the set of Game of Thrones, Ireland will be hosting the Winter Festival, which themed the television series on the Strangford Lough coast in Northern Ireland.
The one-day festival will run on Sept. 24, 2017. Guests arriving will be able to relish the king's procession when he visits the Stark House, as well as medieval games including jousting shows on horseback, fierce debate, eagles, archery demonstrations and jesters, As well as medieval dishes such as roasted pork and Venison Pie, washed with fruit juice and cider.
Visitors can feel like the Winterfell mythical world, starting from a tour of the set at Audley's Castle and can take pictures of the Winterfell castle courtyard, then enjoy the throne themed play and workshop performance.
Special guests on site will include two Stark family home dogs, as well as Game of Thrones actor Boyd Rankin (who played Mikken's blacksmith in the first season) will show off weapons from the show among the medieval festival kiosks.
Visitors will also be able to follow the 'Kingsroad' to 'Inn at the Crossroads' where guests can enjoy the show from season one.
The famous series is famous for its dramatic background, which is widely circulated in the UK including in Northern Ireland at Dark Hedges, one of the most famous Game of Thrones filming locations in the country.
