INDUSTRY.co.id - Ministry of Social Affairs continues to integrate the Ministry’s Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS) with the data of Home Ministry’s Directorate General for Population and Civil Registration in order to realize single identity number.
“The integrity of DTKS has been restored in March and was renamed as New DTKS based on Decree of the Minister of Social Affairs Number 12/HUK/2021 dated 1 April 2021,” Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini stated on Wednesday (21/4).
She further said that the Ministry has invalidated approximately 21 million double data and passed on the information to the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK), the Development Finance Comptroller (BPKP), the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), the Attorney General, and the National Police.
The Ministry will stipulate a decree on New DTKS at least once a month to further improve the integrity and to ensure that the program can accommodate social dynamics of the communities.
The public may access the data through web application http://cekbansos.kemensos.go.id/, particularly beneficiaries of social assistance programs who are willing to know the disbursement of the past and ongoing cash assistances.
“Through this application, the public can monitor the disbursement of social assistance programs, such as the Aspiring Family Program (PKH), Non-cash Food Assistance/Staple Food Card, and Cash Social Assistance by inputting their names and villages/sub-districts,” she said.
The Minister expressed hope that through the application, the public can exercise their rights to access public information and transparency in the disbursement of the assistances can be improved.
Furthermore, the Ministry will also improve features in the cekbansos application to meet future needs and as a response to the input from the public. New features to be developed include a feature for new application of the social assistance and a feature that allows the public to raise objection to the eligibility of the beneficiaries which will be followed up through verification and validation processes by regional governments.
In the event of objection, the Ministry may ask input and suggestions from universities to decide the eligibility of beneficiary of social assistance programs in question.
