Minister Rini Ensures Feronikel Ternate Factory Completed July 2019

INDUSTRY.co.id - Ternate - SOE Minister Rini M Soemarno made a series of visits to his work in Mabapura, East Halmahera (Haltim), North Maluku (Malut) by reviewing the construction of the Feronick factory of PT Aneka Tambang (Antam).

She said the construction of this factory should be considered that prioritizes to accommodate the local son to work in a company owned by PT Antam, so the unemployment rate in Haltim can be minimized.

Thus, this Rp3.5 trillion project with 70 MW electricity capacity can be utilized for the welfare of the community in Malut region.

According to her, the Ferronickel plant construction project is planned to be completed in July 2019 on an area of ​​39 thousand hectares of land.

Thus, Rini said, his presence in the company to see closely the progress of the project, especially for the fulfillment of LPG tanks, because Antam has a large enough land so that SOEs can improve the welfare of the people of Haltim with the birth of programs in contact with the public interest.

Previously, PT Aneka TambangTbk (Antam) along with PT Wijaya Karya Tbk Consortium (WiKa) Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. (KHI) conducted the inauguration of the first pole of Ferronickel Development Project in Mapaura Kabupaten Haltim.

Meanwhile, President Director of PT Antam, Arie Prabowo Ariotedjo when contacted previously stated that the activity is an effort to increase the added value of mineral-owned region.

Thus, it will support Antam's total annual ferronickel production capacity to 40,500-43,500 tonnes of nickel in ferronickel (TNi), because, the spirit of realizing the basic metal industry will be closer, " he said.
