INDUSTRY.co.id - The COVID-19 Handling Task Force has confirmed that PeduliLindungia.com is a fake website whose name resembles that of the official Government website.
“All the content and information on the fake website is not related to Pedulilindungi.id (the official website) and is not related to the Government’s measures on COVID-19 handling,” Task Force spokesperson Wiku Adisasmito said in a press conference on the development of COVID-19 handling on Friday (09/10).
Wiku also said that Ministry of Communications and Informatics has cut off public access to the Pedulilindungia.com.
He also urged the public to always be aware of any disinformation related to fake websites and applications that resemble the name of Pedulilindungi.
“The public must only access the official website of Pedulilindungi.id and download the official application on the App Store or Google Store services,” Wiku remarked.
