Police Charger Event Generated Many Negative Feedbacks

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta- Police Headquarters spoke about the driver of illegal fees by unscrupulous police officers in South Kalimantan. The brave driver who records and then evokes the video on social media - which then viral it - will be rewarded.

"Related to the video on the medsos showing a traffic policeman was charging a driver, the show became viral in medsos bringing up a lot of negative responses from the public and netizens," Karo Penmas Polri Brigjen Rikwanto said in a release received by the editor on Saturday (19/8 / 2017).

Responding to that, Rikwanto continued, South Kalimantan Police Chief has ordered his staff to conduct checks in the field as well as inspection to the traffic police officer in question.

After the investigation found the fact that the event was true happened. Pungli conducted by traffic police officer initials Aiptu MM and Bripka DB from South Labuan Aman Police, Central Hulu Sungai Police.

"Currently, the person has been investigated and there will be further legal action process in the internal police," he said.

Related to that, Rikwanto continued, National Police Chief Gen. Tito Karnavian stated in the bribery incident then the police and bribery could be criminally charged.

Kapolda also wanted to straighten out opinions and viral in social media stating that the police wanted to arrest and make Cecep as a suspect. "I want to straighten and affirm, that I want to thank her for her courage so I know how my members are performing in the field," the Kapolda said.

Kapolda added, the persons who have been paid illegally are handled by Propam Field of South Kalimantan Regional Police and will conduct disciplinary and KKE sessions. "I will act firmly brave personnel who play games and harming the community," said Police Chief Brigadier General Rachmat Mulyana.

The South Kalimantan Police Chief also appealed to the public who found the behavior of members of South Kalimantan Regional Police who did not comply with the Tupoksi (duties and functions) of the Police to record and report it to Bid Propam each unit.
