The President Receives the Selection Committee for 2023-2028 KPPU Member Candidates at the Bogor Palace

INDUSTRY co.id - Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) received the selection committee (pansel) for the election of candidates for the Business Competition Supervisory Commission (KPPU) for the 2023-2028 term at the Bogor Presidential Palace, West Java, Monday (27/02/2023).
The selection committee has completed the selection process and reported the results to President Jokowi.
"This morning we reported that the selection committee for the 2023-2028 KPPU Commissioner who has been in charge since October 2022 has finalized the results," said Ningrum Natasya Sirait as Chair of the Selection Committee in a statement after the meeting.
During the meeting, Ningrum and other members of the selection committee reported 18 names of KPPU Commissioner candidates which had also been accepted by President Jokowi and Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Pratikno.
"We report to the President 18 names of KPPU commissioner candidates that have been accepted by the President and the Minister of State Secretary," he added.
The eighteen names are the result of selection from 228 applicants who have passed various tests ranging from administrative selection, written tests, competency tests, medical tests, to interviews. Furthermore, the 18 names will be conveyed by President Jokowi to the DPR to select 9 people who will be determined by presidential decree (Keppres).
"We have also submitted a report containing the selection process to completion and we have also submitted several additions from the members of the selection committee and the President has received inputs and notes and will submit them according to the time schedule to the DPR in the near future," said Ningrum.
Minister of State Secretary Pratikno accompanied President Jokowi in the meeting.
