GIIAS Vehicle Exhibition 2017 Print New Record

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta, Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), 2017, booked a vehicle sales transaction of 21,000 units. This is the highest sales figures in events held each year.
The achievement of sales figures was launched by the Association of Automotive Industries (Gaikindo) as the organizer of GIIAS 2017 at the closing of the exhibition on Sunday, 20 August 2017 ago. not include sales figures from several Brand Holder Agents (APM) who have not reported sales data to Gaikindo.
In his official statement to the mass media, Chairman of Gaikindo Yohanes Nangoi conveyed, the exhibition that was held for 11 days in ICE BSD City Tangerang was once the record-breaking highest vehicle sales figures since the annual exhibition was held. In the previous event last year, recorded as many as 20,384 units of vehicles sold.
"We are grateful that the achievement of GIIAS this year recorded a significant increase in visitors until the end of its implementation," said Chairman Gaikindo Yohannes Nangoi, "he said
GIIAS 2017, according to him invites automotive industry players in Indonesia to present and exhibit new products, product development and new technologies so that society and automotive industry players in Indonesia have a more understanding about the rapid progress of the automotive industry that occurred in other developing countries.
Efforts from GAIKINDO invite APM exhibitors to present the latest vehicles that become the mainstay of contributing positively, recorded as many as 47 new vehicle launches and concept vehicles took place on the title GIIAS 2017, including 3 World Premiere from passenger segment, commercial and concept car.
The presence of newest products and technologies in this prestigious automotive event also supports and strengthen the name of Indonesia and exhibition GIIAS 2017 so it can be equated with other international automotive exhibitions such as the Frankfurt Auto Show, Tokyo Motor Show, Detroit Auto Show, Geneva Motor Show and several other international exhibitions.
As a note, GIIAS 2017 which was held from 10 to 20 August 2017 was followed by more than 300 brands of automotive industry players in Indonesia, including 32 members of Gaikindo.
Appearing as the first champion favorite passenger car (Favorite Passenger Car) GIIAS 2017 visitors selection is Mitsubishi Xpander, second filled Honda Civic Hatchback, and third Mercedes Benz AMG GT R.
While for the category of commercial vehicles (Favorite Commercial Car), the first winner was Hino Dakar Rally, Hyundai Xcient and Mitsubishi Fuso E-Canter.
