Meanwhile, Chairman of the Indonesian Association of Ships and Offshore Industries (Iperlindo), Eddy Kurniawan Logam, said that with the growth and development of maritime industry, Shipyard-Port-Infrastructure (GKPI) will boost demand for shipping industry and its components, For new vessel demand and ship maintenance (new build of after sales), which will boost Indonesia's economic growth in the maritime industry.

"Based on data from the world food agency (FAO), the value of the Indonesian marine economy is estimated to reach 3 trillion US dollars to 50 dollars or equivalent 36000 trillion to Rp60.000 4 years This is because Indonesia has three archipelagic sea archipelago (ALKI) Very high trade value and shows that Indonesia is the most potential and influential country in the shipping industry sector, "he said.

INAMARINE 2017 has been participated by more than 300 participants from 19 participating countries will bring 18.000 visitors from home and abroad, INAMARINE 2017 also get full support from the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, Indonesian Shipbuilding Companies Association (Iperindo), Indonesian National Shipowners Association (INSA ), Indonesian Port Business (ABUPI), Indonesian Maritime Practitioners (Pramarin), and Indonesian Ship Components Industry Association (PIKKI) and Indonesian Coting Association (ASCOATINDO).
