HOKI Successfully Records Sales of IDR 1.29 Trillion in 2024

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta, March 24th, 2024 – A well-known rice producer under the brand name 'Topi Koki' listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange PT Buyung Poetra Sembada, Tbk., (HOKI)  managed to record sales of IDR1.29 trillion in 2024, an increase compared to sales in 2023 of IDR1.28 trillion.

However, the increase in raw material prices has boosted the cost of goods sold to IDR1.19 triliun. Soaring from the previous year of IDR1.18 trillion. As a result, the Company had to suffer a current year loss of IDR6.1 billion.

On the other hand, the Company's business diversification efforts continue to show promising prospects. In 2024, the financial investment business run by its subsidiary PT Hoki Investasi Sejati (HIS) posted dividend income of IDR9.34 billion. The total asset value of HIS as of the end of December 2024 was recorded at IDR306.6 billion.

Meanwhile, efforts to transform the business into an FMCG business are also increasingly prospective. Sales from the new business being pursued through the Company's subsidiary, PT Hoki Distribusi Niaga (HDN), continue to grow convincingly. Sales of Dailymeal brand in 2024 were recorded at IDR10.15 billion. Increased 114.05% compared to 2023 sales of IDR 4.74 billion.

To further accelerate the transformation process into an FMCG company, HOKI continues to develop and optimize the production and sales of healthy Dailymeal rice alternative products and will continue to innovate new healthy rice products.

Dailymeal presents a wide selection of convenient diet rice with distinctive advantages. Dailymeal Corn Rice has a very low glycemic index to keep blood sugar stable and support fun and energetic activities. Sheing the demand for Dailymeal products which continues to grow rapidly, the Company has anticipated by building a new factory. Currently, HOKI through its subsidiary, PT Koki Sehat Sejahtera is building a new Dailymeal factory in Central Java which is targeted to be completed in mid-2025.
