"From 2015 to 2017, public satisfaction with Jokowi's government is increasing," said researcher of the Department of Politics and International Relations of CSIS Arya Fernandes in the presentation of the survey results in Jakarta on Tuesday (12/09/2017)
The survey was conducted on 1,000 respondents spread proportionally across 34 provinces in Indonesia with random sample sampling and multi-stage random sampling method with a margin of error of +/- 3.1 percent and a 95 percent confidence level.
Arya conveyed in general the level of public satisfaction to the performance of Government Jokowi 2015 by 50.6 percent, and then rose in 2016 to 66.5 percent, and 2017 of 68.3 percent.
According to Arya, the biggest public satisfaction occurs in the economic, legal and maritime fields.
Particularly in economics, CSIS records that the family economy in the last three years did not experience a significant increase. However, the development of public exposed and public infrastructure encourages public satisfaction in the economic sector.
While in the field of law, the public is optimistic the government is committed in law enforcement such as strengthening the KPK, pushing the reform of the Police to eradicate the judicial mafia while in the maritime sector, the construction of sea tolls to strengthen the maritime defense trigger high public satisfaction.
