President Jokowi Warns to Post-OTT Region KPK

INDUSTRY.co.id - Banjarmasin - President Joko Widodo warned regional heads to be careful using budget, post-Operation Capture Hand (OTT) conducted by KPK against members of DPRD Banjarmasin.
"The first thing to be careful in managing the finances, both APBD, whether the state budget is the people's money, be careful.The second is also related to the careful gratification, everything is careful," said President Joko Widodo on the sidelines of a visit to Pasar Baru Banjarmasin, Friday (15/09/2017)
KPK on Thursday (14/9) night doing OTT against 5 people including members of Parliament Banjarmasin.
"Yes, if there is evidence, there is a fact of legal facts there, I think good, KPK's achievement is indeed in OTT," added the President.
The President also invited the KPK to continue to conduct law enforcement activities, including OTT. "Those arrested are arrested, catch me, as long as the evidence exists," The five people who were secured in the KPK OTT consisted of elements of the DPRD Banjarmasin city, state-owned and private. They are still being examined at Polda Kalimantan Selatan.
Alleged transactions have been related to the process of deliberating local regulations.
The team also secured some money related to the OTT. The five people will be immediately taken to the KPK office in Jakarta for further stages.
Within a maximum of 24 hours the status of the parties secured will be determined. KPK leaders will hold a press conference announcement of the suspect on Friday afternoon.
