Garuda Indonesia Targets GATF Transactions Lombok Rp5 Billion

INDUSTRY.co.id - Mataram- Garuda Indonesia Limited Liability Company targets the transaction value of Garuda Indonesia Travel Fair (GATF) phase II 2017 in Mataram City, Lombok Island, West Nusa Tenggara, reaching Rp 5 billion with 10,000 visitors.

"The target is higher than the previous year's GATF target of Rp3.5 billion with the realization of Rp4.5 billion," said Garuda Indonesia Mataram Branch Office Manager Muhamad Yansverio, in Mataram, Saturday (23/09/2017)

He said GATF Lombok phase II 2017 held in Lombok Epicentrium Mall, Mataram City from 22-24 September.

Previously, Garuda Indonesia has held GATF Lombok phase I on 10-12 March 2017 in the same place.

Yansverio said the implementation of GATF is one of Garuda Indonesia's strategic efforts in optimizing the potential market in the region of central Indonesia, especially in Lombok Island and surrounding areas.

GATF is also one way in supporting government efforts to encourage the growth of national tourism, including in "10 priority destinations beyond Bali".

"GATF is an annual event that is always awaited by loyal customers Garuda Indonesia, not only in the city of Branch Lombok, but throughout Indonesia," he said.

In the period of GATF Lombok phase II 2017, Garuda Indonesia took the tourism actors in NTB, from travel agents and ticket sales as well as travel agents and ticket sales sub-agents.
