Minister Susi Acknowledges Government Strengthens Maritime Sector

INDUSTRY.co.id - Italy - Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Susi Pudjiastuti conveyed a joy with the presence of KRI Bima Suci which is a proof that the Indonesian government has a desire to make its maritime strength especially the vast sea territory of Indonesia the second largest in the world with the sea area of ​​five million square meters.

"It is time for Indonesia to prove its sovereignty to the sea," said Minister Susi in his speech at the Cocktail Party event to welcome the presence of KRI Bima Suci in the port city of Chivitavecchia, Italy, Friday night. (9/29/2017)

Minister Susi said that Indonesia with the world's longest known number two sea area with five million square meters in accordance with the vision and mission of the Indonesian government wants to make the sea as the future of the nation.

He said for two and a half years Indonesia has been continuously conducting illegal fishing wars to keep fishery resources insufficient for the nation's future.

The Minister hopes that the trainers of KRI Bima Suci can educate the cadets and martyrs to be a reliable sailor and maintain the sovereignty of the sea and the heirloom of natural resources that envies other countries. (Ant)
