INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Susi Pudjiastuti in a working meeting with Commission IV of the House of Representatives, Jakarta on Monday said that the discourse about salt production in various regions should be submitted to the Ministry of Trade.

"Maybe it should be put into the Kemendag only pergaraman," said Minister Susi in Jakarta, Monday (22/1/2018).

According to Susi, it is because the CTF has issued various policies and assistance in order to help national salt farmers.

However, she continued, domestic trade issues are still not conducive and constructive, and often difficult to run.

Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries cited, transportation network and connectivity related to salt commodity which is considered expensive, even though it is beyond the capacity of his party.

Susi also wants the import of non-industrial salt should only be done by PT Garam so that the import of consumption salt is not easy to just go.
