PLN Immediately Builds World's Tallest Electric Towers

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) will soon build the world's tallest power tower to connect Java-Bali power tension. The 376-meter tower is claimed to be higher than the Eiffel Tower and beats the world's highest electric tower located in China with a height of 340 meters.
Manager of Project Implementation Unit of East Java and Bali II (JBTB) I Indrayoga Suharto revealed that there will be two towers as high as 367 meters which will be built in Bali strait. For the foothold, PLN even requires a land area of 1 hectare.
"The tower construction is part of a total of 520 Java-Bali Crossing transmission towers," said Indrayoga in Banyuwangi, last weekend, PLN has taken this crossing effort to secure electricity supply in Bali with an average growth of 10% -15%. .
The growth of electricity demand in Bali is quite high because hatus supplies the tourism industry of Dewata Island which also grows rapidly. For the record, the current national electricity demand grew an average of 8.7% per year.
The Java-Bali Crossing project has been poured into several regulations such as Presidential Instruction, Presidential Regulation, and Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Decree. Currently, PLN is completing a number of licenses.
