INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index (IDX) opened up to 5,921 in the first trading session on Tuesday (10/10/2017), up about 7 points or 0.1% compared to yesterday's closing level 5.914.
In the pre-opening session, JCI edged up 4 points to 5,918. While the LQ45 Index edged up 0.8 points or 0.08% to 986.
JCI movement in the early trading session this morning seems flat and tends to stagnate. That is due to the lack of growing sentiment in the market.
Commodity shares are recovering again as investors are targeted by investors. However, other business sectors are sluggish. That is indicated by the decline of various sectoral indices in trading this morning.
At 09.05 JATS time, the JCI continued to rise 6 points or 0.09% to 5,920 positions. Meanwhile, the LQ45 Index fell 0.026 points (0.01%) to 985.
Meanwhile, the rupiah against the US dollar (US) in trading this morning strengthened Rp5. US dollar exchange rate perched on the position of Rp13.490 compared to the position in trading yesterday at the level of Rp13.495. (Abraham Sihombing)
