Increase Consumer Credit, Bank BTN Builds Strategic Partnership with Railink

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk (BBTN), or Bank BTN, continues to boost collaboration with various institutions and companies to increase community access to Bank BTN's financial services.

To improve its performance in the future, Bank BTN is partnering with PT Railink, a subsidiary of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) to deliver and operate the airport rail service.

"This partnership with Railink is a strategic move that allows Railink employees to enjoy BTN's consumer loan facility," said Handayani, Managing Director of Consumer Banking Bank BTN.

Through this partnership, Handayani, 180 Railink employees can enjoy credit from Bank BTN, starting from mortgages (mortgages), credit for employees, credit for home renovation and various other credit facilities.

"But importantly, this partnership can spur consumer lending to Bank BTN," Handayani said after the signing of Cooperation Agreement between BTN Bank and Railink at BTN Tower, Jakarta, Friday (13/10/2017).

Until August 2017, Bank BTN has disbursed consumer loans amounting to Rp144 trillion. It increased 19% compared to the position until August 2016 amounting to Rp121 trillion.

Handayani pointed out that there are several consumer credit facilities that Railink employees can enjoy, namely KPR Non-Subsidized, Subsidized KPR, Apartment Ownership Loan (KPA) BTN, BTN Loan Collateral (KAR) BTN and BTN Light Loan (Kring BTN).

"In addition, they can also utilize Kredit Swadana, KPR BTN Subsidy with sharia scheme and KPR BTN Non-Subsidy with sharia scheme," said Handayani.

Handayani said that with the facility Railink employees and PT Angkasa Pura II can also get credit with down payment ranging from 1%, interest and margin from 5%, loan term up to 25 years and insurance coverage.

"In addition to the various facilities of credit facilities, with this partnership, customers can also use BTN Bank credit card and debit company to buy airport train tickets," said Handayani.
